Inventory issues were taken off employees so they could focus on their day-to-day tasks. With regular audits and maintenance of inventory levels, our on-site assistance and open blanket orders saved invoicing and purchasing time and allowed common items like gloves, safety glasses, and protective ear plugs to be easily and continuously accessible.
Instead of throwing away gloves after using them, employees started throwing them in an Action-provided bin. We then collected the gloves, cleaned, sorted and returned them for reuse, reducing waste and costs.
While we were at it, we evaluated the gloves used and determined one of similar quality could be purchased for less, saving the company even more!
